How good is the sound system? Please help null

It's good. It's not surround sound but still sounds great for a monitor.

Super late answer but I got this two months ago and just realized you can adjust the speakers using the menu, they are on 25 by default and get MUCH louder when maxed out. No it doesn’t match a good quality soundbar and subwoofer but for it to be included, it’s a great bargain

The built in speakers are pretty good but my son still uses his headphones with mic.

Basic sound and flat tone, would recommend head phones or external speakers.

Good enough for a quiet office setting if listening to low music. If your gaming watchung movies or want loud music you'll need external speakers
