• No, this machine comes pre loaded with Windows 11 in S mode. It can be switched out of S mode to regular Windows 11, or you can install a linux distribution, but it cannot run Android/Chrome OS (what a Chromebook uses).

• This is not a Chromebook, it runs windows. It is secure, and if buy from bestbuy, they will give you a 6 month anti virus software for free. Pretty good.
