That, or close non-essential programs when streaming. As for games, there is no blanket reply to that part of your inquiry, as the type, complexity, and requirements of "some" games is far too wide. Apparently, you are unaware that “games” have a huge range in both hardware and software requirements, from the most basic, like chess or solitaire, which can be played on anything, to “starter” games like Minecraft, Roblox, or Fortnite, and all the way up to AAA games, which are the most demanding, in terms of both. To find out whether a specific computer build enables playing a specific game, always go to the manufacturer's website and search for the game, where you will find a full list of system requirements, both minimum (game can be played under the correct circumstances) and recommended (game can be played with full flexibility and enjoyment).
