• This laptop will AutoCAD slow due to hardware limitation. Inventor, NX Siemens, Python, MatLab, Codesys will run smoothly. We don't provide Linux drivers support.

• Always, always, always, check the software websites for recommended hardware specs. Then you will now what you need, and what you might be able to get away with. Also, don't forget that graduating school doesn't mean it's the end of your need for a computer--it just means you move onto another, better one.
