Absolutely. I would even go so far as bringing a usb portable backup battery or buying an external outlet charger (can plug into cigarette lighter, I got mine from a Loves Truck Stop). So long as you have: 1. A USB portable disc player OR 2. A portable Wireless internet box specifically for traveling - can be ascertained through Verizon, maybe AT&T (added onto your plan but sooo worth the additional fees) OR 3. Movies already downloaded on hard drive or Thumb drive OR 4. Can use your or someone else’s phone as a personal hotspot which would enable streaming from whichever apps you prefer Any or all will guarantee you a fun and successful road-trip/way to pass time. The additional internet box works wonders if you’re in a dead zone and can’t gps your location otherwise, nor make emergency calls. Safety is definitely paramount. Bon Voyage!
