Is this desktop good for gaming? null

Not for high end gaming, but it'll work for most of what's out there. Maybe not in a few years though. I've only tried stuff like the latest Civilization iteration and a couple of games cut from similar processing cloth and had no problems, but if you're wanting to keep up with the Joneses and play top-end games at top-end specs, you're gonna have to drop the cash for a real gaming rig. Just take a look at the recommended settings for games you're interested in on Steam and compare them to the specs listed here.

It can but I won'dnt on this motherboard I would get a i7 with a better quality game card
