The laptop has only one PCIe 4.0 m2 slot. I imaged the 512GB drive onto a PNY 4TB PCIe 4.0 stick and have had no issues with functionality or heat.

Used a 2TB WD 850X with no issues. WD Acronic worked perfect on this new system.

There is only one drive bay for this laptop but it is user upgradable. You  can replace it with a bigger drive if you need more space.

Most Windows 11 laptops built in the last few years will easily take a 2TB drive. Some MOBOs/CPUs have a limit of 4TB.

As this is the newest CPU and MOBO I would be shocked if it was truncated to 2TBs.
 A detailed spec for the ASUS MOBO would be a better answer,

Yes the unit supports a maximum of 1TB.
