• It ships with Android 6. You have to download the software updates through your phone. The latest version is 7.1.1 as I have it. It should take about 7 or so updates to get it to the latest version. It has been quite stable for me, and if you encounter any issues, do contact BestBuy/Asus as you may have received a bad phone. Some issues are hardware related and may need to be exchanged if you can't get it to 7.1.1. The common symptom is a white bar at the bottom after some updates.
