Will this work with an HP ENVY x360? null

This works fine with the 360. While the USB-C port placement on the 360 is on the right, it works with this just fine. I own both and they work fine right out of the box.

No, it will not since the ENVY is USB-C You will need another monitor with HDMI or DP input then use a USB C to DP/HDMI converter.
