• You can send but it's through voice. There's a small speaker/microphone on the watch that allows you to speak your text.

• you can reply to the text by voice using the watch, view the recent text list and call the contact that you got the text from, from the same single notification.

• Yes, you are able to send messages. Just speak what you want to text into the watch, review and send.
