Is there some kind of indicator light - on the base and/or the handset - that shows that you have a new voicemail message? Old phone had a blinking light. New phones only show on LCD screen so you have to go to the phone to see if there's a message. null

Ugh. I bought this because of that last answer. It is not correct. Nothing blinks when you have a new voicemail message. Apparently phones don’t do that any more. You have to walk up to them and physically pick up the handset to see if you have a message. Bummer.

You can choose to have a blip sound that let's you know you have a message. Also the screen blinks to let you know that you have a message and will blink until you either play the message or delete it.
