On the side of the unit (not the handset, but the body that holds the handset), there is a circular ring on the right side. At the 12 o’clock position of the ring is “Play/Stop”, at the 6 o'clock is “Delete”. Other functions are at “3” and “9 o'clock”. Just press “Delete” and the message will be gone.
