yes the audible announcement feature can be disabled through the settings menu on the corded main phone.

Yes, push the menu screen and scroll down to Caller ID; hit menu again and scroll down to the Del All calls and you will delete previous missed calls. To mute hit the Mute/Delete key on the upper left hand side of the phone.

Yes you can turn volume done to nothing.
