- Answer You’ll need a AT&T plan. You don’t need an AT&T phone but you’ll need a service plan with AT&T in order to use this.

- Answer See my just posted review. But yes you have an ATT sim already installed. So you can add to your current ATT plan, or use a 3rd party data reseller. Just be aware of the issues in my post.

QuestionHow can I get this to stream without a data cap? A friend gave this to us, it had unlimited data. When their contract w/ATT was up we went to ATT get it under our plan- $50 month and a data cap after 30 gigs then it goes way down and will stream nothing.

QuestionWe use a Velocity 2 now, get 10-12 Mbps download it is ok but do you think the Nighthawk will be much better? So we do not need to upgrade with ATT, just put our nano sim card into the Nighthawk?
