• The Nighthawk is an LTE data radio and wifi hotspot. It comes with an AT&T SIM card which can be activated on an AT&T plan. AT&T does not currently offer an unlimited hotspot plan, but you can get one from other resellers, such as OTRmobile. (I have an unlimited plan from them.)

• Yes you get a Sim card and connect it through a carrier. I use something called netbuddy. 65 dollars a month and unlimited no throttling. I bought a Sim card and Target for a dollar.
