“We have a cabin, very close to an AT&T tower, the only internet we have is with my cell phone, via hotspot. IF we purchase this & a separate AT&T data plan & security cameras/dvr, which need internet service to work, would this set up work? Thank you.”

Yes it will work but you will run out of data too fast it’s not worth it. It’s great for checking work on your laptop and stuff like that. And make sure you turn off, at every use. Not good for downloading large games or playing videos games that need a lot mps. The service I have is 10GB.
