• This shares the data on my unlimited plan, so you do have unlimited on this devise. But depends on your plan. I would check with ATT first

• I'm going to say No... You can take it and use it anywhere where there is an AT&T Network reach, but no unlimited data unless you already have unlimited data for your phone plan. They set it up as a shared device on your account so it uses the same data as your phone plan. My phone data plan is only 5 GB so that is all I can use with this device.
