Do not get a prepaid card from Best Buy cuz they don't scan them right and it shows whenever you go to use them that it's a used car and they won't do nothing about it

The Best Buy associates will even help you with the setup. After your first prepaid purchase, login to your AT&T Prepaid web site https://www.paygonline.com and from there you can your account on auto payment and see your data usage. You can also do one-time refills from the phone, the web site, or go to Best Buy and purchase another refill card. Hope this helps

Please try again later.if you are on a prepaid monthly plan then that is a prepaid phone service meaning every month in order for your plan to renew you must refill it with either credit or debit or a refill card once that is done you will have payed for the next month of your service if not then your service will be disconnected as this is a prepaid acct not an actual contract month to month plan this is pay as you go type of service.

The number of lines, the amount of bandwidth, hot-spot capabilities, the number of texts and minutes of talk time varies from plan to plan. AFTER picking the plan and getting service up and going, THEN you buy the pre-paid cards. Think of the pre-paid cards as if they were gift cards for AT&T. The AT&T stores can accept cash or credit/debit cards still and you can use credit/debit cards via your handset to make payments but for those that do not have a credit card, debit card, or an authorized dealer that is in close enough range can get prepaid cards from various retailers instead in order to cut down on the commute.
