There isn't really any difference between prepaid or a bill every month. With prepaid you do not have to have autopay, but like a regular phone if you don't pay you don't get to use it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Both. I bought this as a prepaid phone to replace the flip phone that my daughter uses. We have a 3 line contract with At&t so this gets the 3rd line. So far so good. My daughter loves it.
