Why is it priced $250 more than it's worth? null

If you compare prices of gaming PCs with the same horsepower, and consider the bundled controllers, it is priced not only competitively, but cheaper than most alternatives. Your question is loaded and trolling. Do some research before slamming a product you don't even own, and clearly, have never even seen.

It’s a new system that a lot of engineers have put some time into which right now has a great amount of nostalgia tied to it. But given the hard core gaming audiences, this system will not be targeting that group as much. So they are trying to get what they can for now with hopes to expand on titles and have it expand pending the interest gained.

It comes with two $60 controllers and they put the work in so we can have a retro gaming console that is upgradable in an atari 2600 body.

Atari is on the BBB list at a very bad rating. I found this out when I purchased this controller and it came DOA. After 3 months I still have not received an RMA from Atari. As to why it is priced at $250 more than it's worth. I'd like to ask why is it priced at $399 more than it's worth. It's junk and the company is full of lies.
