“I see 2 "audio out" female plugs in the back of my "non-smart" Samsung TV. Does the cable have 2 male plugs or 1 plug? If it has 1 plug, do you just pick one on the TV? Thank you, John”

The cable on the headphones is fitted with a single 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo (TRS) male plug. A snap-on 3.5 mm (1/8") to 6.3 mm (1/4") adapter is included for connecting the headphones to devices that have a 1/4" female stereo headphone jack on them. I have never seen a TV with 1/4" audio out jacks on it so I am assuming that these are RCA type jacks. If there is a Left RCA Audio Out and a Right RCA Audio Out jack on the TV, you could use a dual RCA male (Left and Right) to single 3.5 mm OR 6.3 mm stereo female adapter cable at the TV and plug the headphones into the female end of the adapter cable. Make certain that the volume control on the TV varies the volume coming out of the Audio Out jacks so you can control the volume level in the headphones. Consult your TVs Owners Manual for this information. Audio Out jacks are sometimes marked Fixed or Variable. If it does not, the volume will be at a fixed level and may or may not be loud enough.
