“Will this cartridge work with the Audio-Technica VM540ML model of turntable? We have purchased 6 needles in 2 years & keep giving out. We have decided to buy a new cartridge, would this work with our turntable. If not where can we get one reasonable?”

VM540ML is the model number of a cartridge, not a turntable. Please contact us at [email protected] with the model number of the turntable and please provide the effective tonearm mass if you know it. If you have purchased 6 needles in 2 years something is wrong. Failing needles can be the result of a cartridge compliance/effective tonearm mass mismatch, or the vertical tracking force (VTF) being set incorrectly.
