• Line, your 7's dont' have a phono stage.

• That depends on which phono preamplifier you want to use, to use the preamplifier built into the turntable set the preamp selector switch on the back of the turntable to the LINE position and set the LINE/PHONO toggle switch on the back of the active speaker to the LINE position. To use the phono preamplifier built into the speaker set the preamp selector switch on the back of the turntable to the PHONO position and set the toggle switch on the back of the active speaker to the PHONO position. We recommend trying it both ways and using the one that sounds best to you.
