Is this turntable good for Djing the old school way? null

It is not, use the AT-LP140XP Turntable instead. Also, if you will be scratching, consider adding one of the Ortofon cartridges designed specifically for scratching, the AT-XP3 Cartridge provided with the AT-LP140XP Turntable is fine for occasional back-queuing but not durable enough for scratching.
