• Yes, you have to put the rubber belt drive on which takes less than a minute. Thats pretty much it.

• Yes there is a tricky but straight forward install of the band that extends around actual turntable, you gave to carefully align it using the small little grabber to help you wrap it around straight ,,, hope that helps
