“What type of cartridge and stylus does this come with? I have a record player that skips. I was told to get a player that comes with a heavy stylus. Please provide an answer.”

This cartridge is somewhere in the middle, not too heavy, not too light. It catches the records really well, whereas my previous Crossley player had way too heavy of a cartridge which would cause it to jump and potentially scratch records. I would say this cartridge is a good starter, and can be replaced for future modifications.
