It will fit and the weight of it is within the acceptable cartridge weight range, but the XP3 is not the best choice in terms of stylus suspension compliance. The tonearm on the T 20 Turntable has an effective mass of 8 grams (with the carbon fiber headshell provided) which puts it in the low mass category. The tonearm is designed to perform best when paired with a high-compliance cartridge. The compliance of the AT-XP3 Cartridge is 10cu @10 Hz, which is medium compliance. The resonant frequency of this tonearm/cartridge combination would be 13Hz, which is above the preferred range of 8 to 11Hz. The AT-XP7 Cartridge (elliptical tip) is better suited. You could also use our VM510CB Cartridge if you prefer a conical tip. Both models have a compliance of 14cu which would result in a resonant frequency of 11Hz.
