You can keep it simple and connect the turntable to a pair of POWERED type speakers. Powered speakers have amplifiers built into them, you do not need a separate stereo amplifier or receiver between the turntable and the speakers when the speakers are self-powered. The turntable has a built-in phono preamplifier which, when turned on, applies the RIAA equalization curve required to playback records and amplifies the signal to line level. Make certain to turn the phono preamplifier on by placing the preamp selector switch located on the rear of the turntable in the LINE position.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No amp is needed unless you really want one, you just have to make sure you have it on the right Mono/Phono settings, which is a little switch located on the back. You definitely need speakers in which to plug the TT into, either RCA or Aux, but that is all!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a built-in amplifier but you'll need speakers with a line in input. I have a full DJ setup and I'd recommend a simple stereo receiver, speakers and you'll want to get a monitor speaker if you plan to use it to DJ. I also have mine connected to my Sonos base unit and I can play the music all through the house.
