The speeds are 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. A selectable (on or off) RIAA phono preamplifier is built into the unit. All of our USB models, such as this one, contain an A to D converter. The cartridges is an integral part of the tonearm assembly, only the stylus is replaceable - not the entire cartridge.

It has an internal preamp which you can either engage or disengage with the PHONO/LINE switch. I have mine connected to a DVD player using an aux cable which is provided. Cartridge is included and replaceable.
