I believe that it is not good for the needle to continue to stay on the record after the record has completed. When I ordered this machine I assumed that the tone arm would automatically place itself on the record and return to it's resting place after the record finished. I was disappointed when I found that it did not. I have had many turntables and this is the first one that requires manual operation. Getting back to your question. I would not assume that it is harmless to leave the tone arm on the record after the record has completed it's task. Remove as soon as possible. It may keep the needle in good shape longer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. When the records ends it will just keep spinning and spinning until you manually lift up at the arm
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The needle will not be damaged. All of our styli are diamond styli. They are much harder than the surface of a record.
