• It works but it's over the top for gaming systems. My oldest kid has the audioquest cinnamon for his pc but just the pearl for his xbox. Appearantly consoles only display 60hz to any panel they're connected to. So its overkill on an xbox but great for a pc .

• I’m pretty sure it works for gaming. I use it for my sound bar system with 4K TV with HDR.

• Absolutely! All cables and components do some damage to the signal. Cables and components that do the least amount of damage will result in superior picture and sound quality.
