All AudioQuest HDMI cables up to 8.0 m. are fully compatible with 4K/60, HDR and HDCP 2.2. There is no reason why it wouldn't work with a 4K system. Please refer to your TV's owners manual. You may need to select "Enchanced" or equivalent in order to watch programs in 4K.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hdmi should be backwards compatible but depending on the reciever from directv you may want to check compatibility or even with the TV. HDMI cables have issues with copyright protection in delivering signal depending on device. Basically another way to make you buy more expensive cables. Use old ones if picture shows up.
