• Simply that if this cable is ran behind a wall in a home or building in which there are regulations or 'building' codes governing use; that these cables would pass inspection by code compliance inspectors.

• In wall rated cables are resistant to loss of connectivity and resistant to creating a spark that would ignite the inside of a wall. I would strongly recommend using these types of cables when running wires behind dry wall.
