Cable should be fine with the equipment you have. On the TV, go to the settings and make sure your HDMI port is changed from standard to Enhanced for 4K viewing.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m a little late on responding to this but chances are it is going to be your receiver where you’ll find issue. There’s a chance that your receiver either needs to have something changed inside of it settings to allow it to pass the 4K signal do you television. I have YAMAHA‘s flag ship receiver and I had to change something inside of it, inside of Settings, to allow it to do that. If your receiver cannot do it then I would suggest that you run your Apple 4K Signal directly to your television and use the televisions audio return channel to your receiver. I’m saying this and guessing that your receiver excepts audio return channel signal. If it doesn’t then it is definitely time for you to upgrade your receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure 4K pass through is turned on the receivers and make sure the cable is plugged into HDMI input 2 or 3 on the tv with extended range turned on. Asl long as the receiver can handle the 4K pass through you should be good
