I purchased this because I didn't have an extra cord to match the Apple TV requirements. When I plugged the HDMI cable I use for our Sony PlayStations, I could not get 4k content to play on my Sony 4K tv. When I switched to the Rocketfish HDMI cord we purchased for our Roku 4k, I was able to connect with 4k and 4:2:2 video as well. I wanted to try the Audioquest cord for comparison, though the price was so high. I used my Elite plus coupons to get this cord discounted. I have to admit that I didn't think it would make much a difference compared to the PlayStation HDMI cable but I was wrong. Both the Best buy Rocketfish cable and the Audioquest cables give us such a much clearer picture and even the audio sounds cleaner and slightly louder than before! I really like both cables but to be honest, I cannot afford paying this much money for HDMI cables. I will stick with the Rocketfish in the future. Something I also noticed when I plugged in either cable, they are a bit tighter fitting. While not a problem to plug in, unplugging was. I had to firmly grasp the audio cable head in order to unplug the cables to move my Roku and Apple TV around. If your Bose speaker requires HDMI, I definitely recommend either cable. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pearl is the lowest price of the upscale cable world. Its interior is copper versus silver in the higher end cables. 2 feet is reasonable price. It’s when you increase your length is when it gets expensive. I used 5 foot Forrest cable $80 and 2 foot Pearl cable $39. That’s the price for these upgraded cables. I tried finding them cheaper. They were the same price everywhere. Using upgraded cables will make a difference but you need to commit to using them in every connection. Gets pricey but you will be future proofing your home entertainment.

There is a voltage that is either read as 1 or 0 at the input, and a super expensive cable that perfectly transmits the voltage makes absolutely no difference. This is the point of digital. There is no such thing as hearing slightly better audio or video being slightly better because of a special cable when using a digital format.
