“If I have the Smart things hub or Wink why would I still need the August hub????”

• The need for the August hub is because the lock is set to communicate with the August hub via Bluetooth and until a smart things hub or other device becomes more universal with security and other protocols it cannot communicate with the lock

• Yes. The locks only connect to the August hub, and only one lock connects to each hub, so you need multiple August hubs for multiple locks.
