• The seat cushion is a few inches and the backrest is not adjustable. The seat is comfortable to sit in for hours at a time.

• No back rest, it actually helps with back support if you were interested in something like that. It does adjust up and down - I would say as any standard computer chair. Cushion is firm more than soft. But I like that.
