Yes. ALR is the way to go. Somehow it makes the picture appear darker and more vibrant. You'll be amazed... do some google searches for reviews.

ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screens are made with special materials that reflect ambient light, improving contrast and picture quality in well-lit environments. For example, the AWOL Vision ALR-C120 features a jagged surface that effectively reflects light from above, while the AWOL Vision ALR-D120 has an arch design that reflects natural light both from above and from windows. Both screens are designed with advanced materials to reflect light, but the difference in their construction affects the viewing angles. The C120 has a wide 170-degree viewing angle, while the D120 offers a more focused 90-degree viewing angle. Check out this video for more information: How To Choose The Right Screen For Your Projector https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWmxwArM_7w&t=222s Tips: The AWOL Vision ALR-C120 is only suitable for Ultra Short Throw projectors. If you're using a standard projector, you'll need a different ALR screen.
