Late reply, but from an OPTICAL viewpoint the glass / plexi would reflect AND refract the beams, so as a photographer well versed in lens, I'd say NO. The lens on projectors are complex devices with multiple special coatings to prevent reflection and refraction of the beams. Any Glass or plexi sheet would not have such coatings and WOULD degrade the image. A second consideration would be that enclosing the projector fully would kill the needed airflow (and hence the unit!). Projectors need massive airflow, they're hot blooded beasts. :)

Keep an eye on our official website for any updates, and don't forget to join our AWOL Vision Facebook groups for more news and discussions. Regarding the glass lens, please use the provided cleaning cloth to wipe it if it gets dirty. You can also purchase a cleaning solution separately for thorough cleaning. As long as the lens glass remains scratch-free, it won't impact the image quality. A tip: Avoid covering the projector with any objects while it's in use. you might want to consider crafting your own DIY tool for protecting it when not in use.
