A:Answer Yeah, Mattel is a scummy company, sucks that I'm addicted to Barbies...I signed up my email to get the k-Pop dolls, less than 2 hrs after I get the email and they were sold out already. This happened with the Diwali doll too. They did a rerun of the K-Pop dolls and I was able to see it in my email 7 mins before release and managed to get a set, but checkout took forever from the number of ppl ordering them. I hate that they create artificial scarcity of their products just to drive up interest and the resellers are insane for Barbie. If you don't get it on release, you're screwed unless you want to support the scammers selling them for 7-10 times the initial cost. I don't understand it from a business perspective, but it must work, otherwise I couldn't imagine them allowing the resellers to make such a profit. I wish they would limit to 1 per person as well, just ridiculous.
