“Since this camera will be exposed to the elements (Wisconsin), would the extended warranty be advised? Has anyone had any issues?”

• Boise, I see no reason to mount the unit or the transmitter outside....See my previous answer.......I mounted the BC30 and its transmitter inside. The camera lens is against a rear window and the transmitter is facing the GPS. If the purpose is to see objects right at your bumper level, this configuration may not work however.
