Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The wireless distance of the BC 30 accessory is 45 feet. If necessary, an extension cable is available which will increase this distance. This cable can be found with part number 010-12043-10. -MH
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had an excellent Best Buy mobile tech install my Garmin BC 30 on the bumper of our 29 ft travel trailer. The total length of our trailer is 34 ft from rear bumper to the trailer tongue. Add another 15 ft from my pickup's dashboard, where the Garmin RV 660 is mounted, to the trailer tongue and you have 49 ft. It works awesome! I liked it so much that I had the tech install another Garmin BC 30 on the truck bumper. The Garmin RV 660 can control up to 4 BC 30 cameras. The truck camera allows me to see the trailer tongue while trying to hitch the truck to the trailer. You just can't imagine how easier it is to hitch up and, later at the campground, back the trailer into a site. It truly reduces the tension resulting from the hand signal miscommunications given by Penny. But don't tell her that, I can get into trouble all by myself.
