will this work on an old nuvi 255W null

Check the menu on your Nuvi, there will be an option there for back up camera. chances are it will not if its older. another way to know is if you go to your Nuvi update program, if you see a option to buy the camera on that device, it will work. I have 2 newer model 2597's, and 2 model 2555's for our families cars. The 2555's can't be more than 3 years old and you cannot use the back up camera on them, but they do work on the 2597's.
