“I have installed the garmin backup camera on the back of my trailer and it works great for what it is designed for, however I really need a camera with a much lower viewing angle so I can use it to view the traffic behind my trailer while driving. help?”

Larry, See my previous answer re your application. My installation mounts the camera inside, on a rear-facing window sill. The camera and transmitter are inside, away from harsh conditions. I mounted it at about 4 feet from ground level but pointed it down to sweep the road behind my trailer. I have it set to see rear-approaching vehicles at about 200 feet and close as 3 feet....Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.maybe you could use L brackets to be able to give you a different angle. If the brackets aren't the right angle you could use a vise to change the bend, Id recommend metal brackets.
