Other than using the rear lights power source for the camera, what would be another option for supplying power? I know you will lose the ability to have it switch on automatically when backing up. null

As far as I know, this is the only way to hook it up. It's very simple to do.

You can hook it up to any 12v power source including running a separate line from the fuse box. You would have to put an inline switch so you can turn it on and off otherwise it would stay on constantly.
