• Absolutely. I’m impaired in one ear, so I only use one side at a time.

• Yes, I use it that way to hike and riding motorbikes. It’s actually they only way I use them.

• Yes, it definately does work and sound good with just one ear bud in.

• Sure, but you lose stereo quality. I find I can still hear people & other noises fine even with both buds in, they do not fully block the ear canal.
