Can these noise cancel even when not playing music? null

It will cancel most noise when not playing but as the technology suggest it’s a negative noise Feed back loop so it will usually drown out noises that it’s meant to negate but if fitted properly you will see a definite difference between turning off and on the noise cancelling feature..

The model will work and make these sound quieter, but it won't be so effective. You can still hear outside surroundings.

The noise cancellation doesn't actually work when listening to music, so it sure won't work when you aren't listening to music.
