• The call comes through both earpieces if you have both in. If you're only using one, then it will only transmit through one earpiece.

• That's because they are probably set automatically to both because most people are going to be working out in them and want to hear music. If you want to just use one, I'd go into the settings on your phone and change the sound settings to the one you want to use.

• You hear the call through both headphones at the same time. The conversation is in stereo.

• you can hear from both or you can only keep one of them one, still works. your voice will sound better than airpod IMO. much less, background noise through the mic.
