I bought the original pair when they were still working with monster compared to those days yes they’ve actually improved in my opinion there’s still some good high-quality sound it’s not overly focused on the base although if the music you listen to does it still brings it out but also the little notes and things that you normally wouldn’t pay attention to also you can now turn off the noise canceling incase you need listen what’s around you. Can’t say I’ve had any problems as far as how they physically function there are no noises that it makes no creaking noises or anything like that. I would also recommend going to your local Best Buy or any other electronics store that can allow you to test them out to see if they are to your liking.
