• They will work with an android device, however the volume buttons on the chord will not. I'm not sure why this is. But the microphone DOES work.

• Yes but volume will not work. Answer incoming and disconnect works fine, also with lower grad phone cases, this jack will slip right in if needed to.

• I have used these with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with no issues. I have only listened to music/podcasts though. I haven't needed to use the in-line mic yet.
